In this method which is only performed by our team in the whole world, the only external part is a screw that is used for limb lengthening and could easily rotate by volunteer fingers. Naturally there will be less scar and less pain in this method compared to previously lengthening methods.

Limb Lengthening by MTN method

Until now this method is the most up-to-date method in Iran and comparing to our 2 other Competitor (Fitbone and Precice) we have these advantage points:

1. Ability to walk next day after surgery

2. Possibility of more than 6cm limb lengthening. In Fitbone and Precice methods only 6cm limb lengthening is possible.

3. So much lower price

Meanwhile maintaining personal hygiene and keeping the enhancing screw clean is very important.

According to our experiences in previous years, we achieved a 7-8cm Permitted range in limb lengthening and we are sure to be Committed on this limit as well. Usually in the Lengthening period, volunteers can do their personal things. In 3weeks after surgery, especially in some jobs, volunteers are able to drive cars and work.

In this method, it should be noted that the enhancing screw must be always dry and well bandaged.
Some volunteers may have problems with sleeping or even insomnia for a while, but with proper medicines it could be controlled.
In MTN method a night Splint or a special Brace may be used for volunteer relaxation and resting to provide good condition for tendon’s lengthening with less effort.
The amount of pain varies from person to person, but it’s certain that doing stretching exercises can significantly reduce it.

Regarding the costs of this operation, we must always keep in mind that in principle, this work is very difficult, delicate and full of responsibility, and for these reasons, few people have entered this field and it should be compared with other centers in the world to realize that it’s as minimum as possible.
After finishing the lengthening period in MTN method, the enhancing screw can be easily removed in Dr. Motalebizade Clinic, but in LATN method removing of external fixator must be done in the operating room.

It is always possible for you to have contact with volunteers, which have done this surgery in previous years and use their experience.
Before the surgery, during the lengthening period and after that, until the volunteers achieve normal physical condition, Our Psychological Counselors support them every day (This service has just been added).
